Jason Ball is best known as the pioneering GLBTI advocate who became the first Australian Rules footballer at any level of the game to publicly come out as gay. He is also a national figurehead on broader gay rights issues including a focus on the health and wellbeing of same-sex attracted and gender diverse young people.
Lucy Thomas is the cofounder and CEO of Australia’s youth-driven movement against bullying, hate and prejudice, as well as a board member at Minus 18. Lucy uses her platform in a volunteer capacity to speak out publicly about her own experience of homophobic bullying to rally greater support for GLBTI youth.
Sally Goldner has been actively involved in Melbourne’s queer community for seventeen years and has been a lead advocate in fighting for transgender rights. Sally’s work has helped highlight the needs of the community and the inequalities that are suffered by those that identify as transgender.
