For over 30 years, Associate Professor, Dr Edwina Wright has been at the forefront of HIV medicine, and in 2015, she has been instrumental in research into pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to prevent HIV transmission for individuals at risk.
Jan Farrell is a Councillor at the City of Greater Geelong and has been a constant and strong advocate for social justice and equality for many in her local community for a long time. Jan has stood alongside and advocated for young LGBTI people, has been able to secure ongoing funding and attended countless events for their support.
Mrs Ailsa Ramsden has been involved with the LGBTI community for the past eight years and has been a strong advocate for our community at the grassroots level. Her compassion, friendly demeanor and quiet support have touched the lives of people living with HIV and, more recently, members of the Melbourne Chargers Rugby Union Football Club.
