headspace Bendigo, Diversity Program raises awareness of homophobia, transphobia, biphobia and the effects it has on young people’s mental health. The program provides a safe environment that embraces diversity and is welcoming for LGBTIQ+ youth.
Melbourne Queer Film Festival creates a safe space to engage the LGBTI community, and its supporters, with the best LGBTI content in order to educate, entertain and celebrate diversity. Now in its 28thyear, the festival screens over 130 LGBTI themed films from Australia and around the world.
The Coming Back Out Ball is a large-scale social transformation project that assembled over 500 LGBTI elders and their allies during Australia’s divisive same sex marriage postal vote to celebrate and connect LGBTI people aged 65 plus.
